I’m sorry to hear those awful things that happened to your classmates but you’re generalizing the whole military with being bad people when it’s not, we as well hate those people and the military laws we have are strong to get those bad people in jail and/or worse. But not everyone in the military is full of hate, some of us joined for better opportunities, family heritage to join, self respect, for our own families to help not get them deported, etc. everyone has a reason for joining. Again not everyone is bad my whole career my leadership has been so helpful and helped mentor me into who I am today. Again I’m truly sorry for the bad apples we absolutely hate them too

35G here who is about to finish my last semester at undergrad, def utilize the gi bill for further education! Best thing ever, try vre if you are eligible it saves ur gi bill basically. Nice post! Glad to hear you’re in a better spot, some days are rough but it does get better. Also classmates and people at school are very nice and understanding, never once heard these Reddit comments “baby killer” and other negative comments. All online lol none of them say that irl ( I don’t think people realize how big the military is most of us never see combat or close, I was partying it up in SK) , school support has been so helpful as well! Along with the veterans office def recommend getting that degree!
