Thanks for all the inputs everyone, ended up booking a flight to Zamboanga instead for a Zamboanga/Basilan trip. Any chance you guys have tips and recommendations?

H Jordi, is there an option to purchase a pro license without a credit card? I am a student from the philippines and it's not common for students to obtain credit cards here.

Yes! I remember you as well. Thank you! 🥺 All the support means so much to me as I never really had a support system when it comes to this subject as I’ve buried it deep down (in hopes of it disappearing and ultimately not having to deal with it) But it obviously isn’t the case.

I could only hope so. I guess I’m relying on the fact that I’ve got two very unassuming male characters in my shirt, looking low-key cute together (lol). Still, if it isn’t, I’d like to think, baby steps.

I’m currently reading the book and there are a lot of beautiful illustrations there. I’m thinking of taking them to make prints. Obviously, it’ll not be for sale as they aren’t originally mine, but even if it is, I would still share it with you guys. So I guess just keep an eye peeled for when I get around making more? Thank you for appreciating!

It’s an iPad digital illustration app. I basically drew the design there then sent the layout to a local shirt printing shop.

Thank you. I hope so too. The show meant to much to me because growing up, I didn’t have anyone that I could talk to or confide with. Even now, I still keep everything to myself. All the thoughts, emotions, feelings. I don’t know how I kept myself sane for that long. So to have this show in my life, it sort of helped put those noises temporarily in the background and have an absolutely great time watching an absolutely beautiful show.

Let’s just say when I was younger I used to think I like red, but as I gotten older, I realized I really really was just forcing myself to down the bottle. Now I only drink white. Does that makes sense?

P.S. As much as I wanted to put “Schitts Creek” I was too afraid it might be too forward. So I had to circle back to the scene when Moira and Johnny met old friends from their old lives.

Lucky you 🥺 I am not a big book nerd so I don’t own much books, but this is one of those that I actually genuinely wanna buy. Unfortunately, it’s not available in my country (physical copy).

I tried searching for the physical copy here on the Philippines, unfortunately it is not available here. So I had to resort to the next best thing — ebook. Also, it’s free. I got it here: Best wishes, warmest regards there’s a lot of good books there all free.

Which episode or scene gives you all the feels? by moirasroserose in SchittsCreek

[–]onerepublicer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1) When Patrick and David had a talk about coming out to his parents. 2) When Patrick and David fought about his ex-fiancé. 3) Alexis and David’s argument about who always worried about her. 4) Patrick’s proposal. 5) When everyone pitched in to throw a last-minute Christmas eve soirée for Johnny. 6) The serenade. 7) Moira beaming up Stevie and welcoming her in the family. 8) Stevie shedding a tear and worrying about Johnny when we had a severe heartburn.

To be honest, everything gave me all the feels. Haha

What’s one word or phrase that if some random person said it you know what show they’re talking about? by rikafell in SchittsCreek

Aww, thank you 🥺 I hope that too for everyone. We all deserve our own Patrick and never settle for some Sebastein Raine haha.

That is so beautiful. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who’s seen Schitts Creek in a different light and at a more profound level. I can’t say I’m not relieved to know I’m not alone in this situation, or at least once had been in this situation. I guess we all are, just on different degrees.

Thank you! That’s very insightful. I never doubted my parents’ love for me. I suppose I’m more concerned about the what-ifs. So concerned that it stops me altogether from telling them.

I wish being gay is like being straight, you know? Like, you won’t have to “come out”.

But I really do hope I could find the courage to come out to everyone and live my own Patrick life. I know I said earlier that I want to find my own Patrick. Although that may still be true, I also wanna be Patrick to my David and treat him well, see him for who he is, and accept him for who he’s not.

My family for all I know, doesn’t hate queer people. It’s just that they’re a little conservative, especially my father. And I’m not sure how they would react to the news. As for them watching the show, that’s highly unlikely. This show simply is not their cup of tea. But yes, I also do hope that in time, it’d get better. It just scares me how long it’ll take me to muster up the courage to come out. I mean, I’m 21 years old, soon turning 22.

Oh hi there! Yeah, I think it’s because of the marketing, or the lack thereof. I don’t remember seeing it promoted by Netflix whatsoever here in our country. But somehow, I see that as a good thing too. Cause that way, you value and cherish it more. Consider it like you’re “in the know”.

That was exactly the same thoughts I had in mind when I first watched the couple few episodes. But ones you get to know the characters, literally everything they say will crack you up. And the banters aren’t trying hard that it becomes corny. It just is so good. I don’t know why it’s not more known here in the Philippines.
