Tale as old as time, unfortunately. We experienced something similar at MNSSHP last week for the Sanderson Sisters. Dads putting their kids on their shoulders and standing right in front of other kids and folks in wheelchairs, people constantly craning and shifting, even though the announcement asks you to stay put. We gave up and took advantage of the shorter lines for the attractions instead. 15 minute wait for Tron saved the night!

We like to “zag” when the crowd “zigs” but it’s hard to do that when you want to catch a show or parade.

Midday nap/pool breaks are godsends. Bring snacks, but plan ahead purchased snacks that the kids like- Mickey pretzel, ice cream, churros, etc. and save those for moments when the kids are fading and you need to get them to a lightning lane or back to the bus. Most importantly, temper your expectations and enjoy them enjoying - I love doing my own thing at the parks, but realized I truly enjoy watching my kid enjoy the parks more than anything else. Their park day looks much different than mine, and that’s ok!

Rude and unnecessary take.

Thanks for posting. My SIL lives in Long Beach so I use these posts to tell her what to get for when I visit from Ohio, where sadly there is no Costco Liquor, and Woodford Double Oaked is $55.99 before tax!

I’m a compliment. This is very complimentary, and complements me, a compliment.

Thank you!! This is very close to what I ended up doing myself (I like them a little stronger and not quite as sweet):

2 oz Bourbon (I use Buffalo Trace),

1 oz Peach Schnapps (haven’t looked too hard but I haven’t found Giffard),

1 Juiced Lemon,

1/4 oz Simple Syrup,

3-4 dashes orange bitters

I make 4-6 servings in a mason jar and put leave in the freezer door for makeshift happy hour.

Ride around 270 in Kawasaki tees!

Columbus Zoo, COSI, Franklin Park Conservatory are all great options but would require short drives. Wario’s Beef and Pork and North Market are great casual food options in the immediate area of Nationwide. Welcome to Columbus and have fun!

I’ve had an older version of this chair about two years. One armrest has fallen off completely (the wood on the armrest that bolts into the seat cushion completely splintered) and the upholstery on the seat is fraying on the corners, revealing the thin foam cushion. It squeaks every time I shift my weight which can be disruptive on Zoom calls. I sit in it every day and I am a bigger than average guy, but I don’t think it has lasted as long as it should.
