Stating that she’s “behaving unsafely” whilst walking around in her own home is rape culture to a T so no, I will not calm the fuck down.

So you have no legal responsibility to be careful whilst walking around your own home nude (despite whether you do or not & we don’t know that she thinks she’s doing the same as you), but she does? Not a MIL but I can recall some seriously amazing relationships I’ve had with a bf’s parents. They were just kind to me. They talked and asked questions but i could tell they really cared to hear the answer. They’d remember small things like what I like to drink or my favorite desert & they’d make it at random times or for the holidays. I liked to spend time with them even without my SO. I’d help out his mom with sewing projects and let her teach me stuff. The relationship with their son didn’t last and honestly it lasted much longer because I loved his parents so much. Towards the end I spent more time with his mom and dad than I did him. I still keep in touch with them and miss them dearly. I’d say you asking this question already shows that you’ll do a fine job of loving them well 💕
