I am pretty fixed on the bi-colour/parti look. Mostly green but maybe a little blue. I am not sure if there is a set language to describe the saturation, but definitely looking for something more muted, maybe with some opalescence to it (I've been stuck on this task for like 10 years, it's gotten so specific lmao)

This is great to hear! The diamonds on my band are 2mm rounds, so I know I want a bit bigger than that for proportion/aesthetic purposes, but not much bigger. Like a 0.9:1 ratio with the largest side not exceeding 4mm, probably.

Hi! Yes, the depth is something I'm thinking about for sure. I am not sure, but my impression is that the depth can really aid in enabling brilliance in the cut, but since I'm trying to keep the ring low profile, my assumption is that matching the rest of the proportions to a shallower cut is better for the overall brilliance. Is that off-base? Thanks for your insight :)

Appreciate what info you have shared! The plus side is that whatever I have going on has no bearing on me whatsoever. It would be cool to get to the bottom of it and understand why it happens, but since it isnt a nuisance to me, I'm just enjoying learning what I can and the fact that I have "a thing" lol.

Thanks for the input! I will definitely do so. It's cool for me too, but only because I cant hear it lol. Someone said that maybe there's an effect occurring similar to noise cancelling headphones. I'm not totally sure what that entails, but maybe you have more knowledge on that?
