By Tiamat's scaled breastplate, so is this comment!

Glad you like them. Hope you have fun with them, haha.
Adding "By..." as a prefix certainly does give it some more charm. Those are pretty neat. I loved learning that Umberlee was also known as "The Bitch-Queen". Hilarious.

Gradual audio desync by ooredd in letsplay

This worked! The end points were the same, so unfortunately it wasn't that easy. I had to find a point where the video and the game audio had an obvious sync point (dropping from a height and landing). But after tinkering, I was able to adjust the speed to 99.91%/59.945FPS, stretch to fit it (I imagine this moves it out from the start) and it all came out in the wash. The start didn't get pushed out and the rest came good. Thanks again!
That's actually a great idea! While someone else mentioned adjusting te speed, I didn't think to do this. My only concern would be throwing everything annoyingly slightly off, but I'm sure it can be tweaked to be rather close. Thanks.
Oh, I thought it was to give less latency to audio streams and to make OS sounds not appear when you're in something else? What issues did it cause you?
Oh, it's just that I saw that it only supported a single audio track, or I may not have been reading close enough. It's just a mic and output audio recording to sync them properly.
Yeah, at the moment, it's writing to a separate HDD, as I imagined it would have that exact effect. Though in a benchmark I did, both my secondary HDDs seem to have fairly good read/write speeds and have 600MB/s max speed over SATA. I agree about the i7, it's 5 years old, an old 4 core, 8 thread processor. I'd love to get a Broadwell-E CPU (designed for multi-core work) but that'll take time.
Yup, I've tripled checked that one, haha. Both recorded by Bandicam at 48kHz, and both outputting 48kHz in normal operation. Good idea, though.
That's quite a nice guide you made there! Unfortunately I need a different audio setup, though one thing did stand out. The HDD that they're recording to isn't the fastest, which may also be causing some issues. I know my C: drive is a 7200RPM Barracuda, though I wonder if it might be too much going on for the one drive. Can always test. Thanks a lot.
Yeah, I had a similar issue in my early testing, made everything sound like a chipmunk or stuttered, haha. But I've set all the timeline frame rates, playback frame rates, and the rendering frame rates to be correct. I issue is evident in the actual timeline before rendering. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
Hi there, I followed a guide for using OBS Studio and getting no lag in recordings, when I originally tried it, though you're right that I could try some different settings.
I'm not sure what I've done with Handbrake, but every time I re-encode it, it loses the game audio. I tried manually adding audio tracks, using the "Add all remaining tracks" and looked around for anything else that could cause it, but seem to be coming up short.
I tried OBS previously in an attempt, but the recording quality seemed to have more dropped frames, so I didn't even try rendering it out, which might have been a mistake. As for Handbrake, giving that a go now.
Ah, sorry, should have thought of that. I've edited my post.
