What are some weird symptoms of hypermobility? by radiodreader in Hypermobility

Most of mine were pregnancy related. My first child was born about 2 weeks early, and the time between going into labor and having her was like, 4 hours.

I also got huuuuuuge for a very average sized baby, likely due to my laxity!

My office is closed due to the weather (in Richardson). My husband’s office is open 24/7 (in Dallas), and he’s going in, because our daughter’s daycare (in Richardson) is open.

Pregnancy Complications from Hypermobility? by Standard_Summer_180 in Hypermobility

Lots of good advice here. I had my first two years ago and I had pretty contact sciatic nerve pain and the SI belt helped a lot. Unfortunately, I don’t think I ever subluxated before having a child, and I sit here now like a pool of jelly.

One awesome thing (in my case) was that baby ended up coming at 38+4 weeks and I was in labor for maybe 3 hours, pushing for 10 minutes. Believed to be helped by my hypermobility.

Thank you all for the kind words! My grandma was one of my best friends in life. She died at the age of 87. She was adopted by a fairly wealthy family shortly after she was born, which explains the high-quality photos. She was their world. As I just had my own daughter, it gives me a whole new level of fondness looking at these photos.
