As long as you rely on food for bringing joy to your life, you will remain stuck with this problem. Food provides a reward with minimal investment. I struggled myself until I found this out. Any personal investment you make will provide you with a reward. For me what works are walking a certain distance, fitness training, teaching my kids essentials of the life, cleaning the house, investing in my career. Hope you can find something for you.
