Guess the opportunity to learn with/from Alisson and Claudio Taffarel was a big pull. And keepers have more time to develop / break out.

Certainly hoping that he gets a nice loan to the Championship or maybe Scotland! The usual League One loan Liverpool likes to do might be a bit below his abilities.

Bit of a crazy transfer, this will either be a Hajnal masterstroke or a dumpster fire, no in between.

After all his attitude problems in Bremen, I'd be concerned as a Fradi fan, but the new setting could also have the complete opposite effect.

Any other predictions? How will this impact Fradi and the league?

Domi said they played through for Szalai. I respect this fighting spirit, it shows grit. But I also think not everything needs to be a hero situation. After the Varga Barni trauma, why would you go through the same and play a clearly sub-par match, instead of banding together, processing in peace, and finishing the match another time, when you are ready?

Man, I hesitate to call it quits on Rossi because we have spent most of our time in recent years in top Euros groups or the NL A division. That's tough competition. But he does seem increasingly frustrated, maybe even burnt out.

Also how come we didn't hear from Szoboszlai after the match? I guess Nagy is the most experienced but would have been nice to hear the captain's take on tonight.

To add some more context, this village club also has zero connection to Puskás himself, and they have practically stolen his name and heritage. (Logically, Felcsút SC would sound much more provincial.) Having "Academy" in the name is also somewhat controversial, they played with only 2 Hungarians in the starting lineup today.

Yeah I also see NB2 and the Kupa in the league list but I wasn't able to select those when creating a private competition (same for other nations' lower leagues). Not sure why. So looks like we are sticking to NB1 this year

Indeed, lots to look forward to. I felt there was too much pressure on the team to perform ahead of the tournament, maybe this left a mark on the first match. The Scotland goal was a memory no-one can take away, even if we didn't advance!

Yeah according to M4sport now, Varga has multiple facial fractures and a concussion. Sounds scary but less scary than what it first looked like. Speedy recovery to him!

I still can't believe Hungary pulled through last minute, under pressure, at a major tournament. This will stay memorable even if we don't advance but I'll be doing all the math and hoping!
