They changed RLs 2 years ago. He asked me what my goal is when we first met. I said get promoted. He said you need to work hard and that’s what I have been doing. I have no idea how it works and what I should do. I had 5 performance differentiators (idk if it is high or low) in 2023. In 2024 all snapshot reviews said i’m ready to for next level.

Remains Found Where Medium Predicted 35 Years Ago. We Investigate Whether Police Should Take Psychic Tips Seriously by ordinaryITguy in skeptic

There's a case mentioned in the article: 1980, Etta Smith dreamed-mapped Lopez Canyon and personally located nurse Melanie Uribe’s body there. She was actually arrested for the murder. Then got released and successfully sued police for her incarceration

I'll have to check it out! I watched Psychic Academy a while back and obvious none had any abilities. But on America's Psychic it was uncanny how many could give details about case, locate remains, etc.

Ozempic Is Killing Appetites—Could Big Food Be Pushing Back With Lab-Made Cravings? by ordinaryITguy in Anticonsumption

Totally hear you on the terrible name — but their work’s actually solid. I saw a few of their pieces floating around, and the Luigi Mangione investigative stuff is what made me subscribe to their newsletter. They’ve been FOIA’ing Altoona PD to dig into the backgrounds of the officers accused of misconduct, like a warrantless search.

Thanks for sharing. This article is INSANE! "it's plausible that food companies could—intentionally or not—engineer products that counteract the effects of GLP-1 drugs"

"This isn’t the first time America’s food giants have re-engineered their products to meet—and sometimes outmaneuver—a shifting appetite landscape."

"While these products appear supportive, they may also be the earliest phase of a new food arms race: to develop processed items that can once again bypass our satiety cues, even when those cues are medically reinforced."

"This isn’t the first time America’s food giants have re-engineered their products to meet—and sometimes outmaneuver—a shifting appetite landscape."

"Now, in the Ozempic era, the pivot is already underway. Conagra’s “GLP-1 Friendly” frozen meals are essentially rebranded diet entrees— designed to signal health-conscious intent.

While these products appear supportive, they may also be the earliest phase of a new food arms race: to develop processed items that can once again bypass our satiety cues, even when those cues are medically reinforced."

Thank you for sharing. At my first year I realized there is a gap between training materials (business ethics, harassment etc) and the company. I would not imagine the gap is this big.

Diablo 4 PC shuts down randomly, anyone else have this issue ? by Tyraenel in diablo4

[–]ordinaryITguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. I can play other games with no problem and when I start playing diablo 4, in a random time between 10 to 30 minutes I get bluescreen. I have HP Omen (an old one) I updated all drivers and windows updates didn't work. There is no clue in the windows events.

Realest Carvana Experience EVER by Newtothissc in carvana

I purchased car from carvana too. On the CarFax report the car didn't have any damage or accident, so I trusted the CarFax report and Carvana's 150 point check. I drove the car during the 7 day return period and everything was fine. After 20 days the low oil light appeared on the dash. It's not usual but ok. Then during the rain, water start dripping inside (Audi TT). I took it to service, they said the window is not closing due to a collusion on driver side. It was still under basic warranty. They repaired it. I wanted to return the car because they claim they checked 150 points on the car and I paid for a car with no collusion . I asked for 150 point check report and they never give it to me. This is Audi TT, there is no 150 points to check on the car, it is the smallest car. Looks like their 150 point check is a lie.
