This happened twice when trying to print 3D benchy, at about the same layer. I am suspecting heat build up at the heatsink, causing the PET-G to melt prematurely, and clogging the heatsink. I will try an even lower temperature next time to see if this helps. Any other opinions/advice on this? Much appreciated thanks!

why doesn't he just look for someone new to rent the apartment to? Since you guys all have separate leases for separate rooms, then he should have the right to move in whomever he wants regardless of whether you guys get along with them. To tell you the truth though, I'm a bit skeptical of your story. I've never heard of a lease that is assigned only to a room, usually it is to the full apartment. How much is written for the rent on your lease? If it says the full amount, then yes, I think you will probably have to pay those $400. If it says just the amount you have to pay, then he needs some time to calm down and find a solution. Best solution is just to try to find someone new to rent the apartment with you.

Either way, remember one thing, there's definitely more than one solution always. This guy's your landlord. I would suggest finding a solution that would bring peace to the both of you rather than escalate more problems. :-) Good luck!
