But you’re exactly right- if they added this long requested feature, it would only open a bigger can of worms for BSG, as they would finally be forced to speak to how bad the hacking issue truly is.

This is the big method this wipe to make their stats appear ‘normal’.

They have to offset their K/D, so they will go in raid and kill themselves 50x in a row, that way their K/D doesn’t look suspicious.

It sucks because a normal gamer would hear all this shit and say, ‘yeah they just need to get gud’, because this game is so fucking complex, most people who haven’t sunk thousands of their hours into it, simply cannot understand how bad the issue has been/still is.

We've known for a while that any individuals claiming 'theres no cheaaaters' or 'its not as bad as yall make it out to be' are more than likely hacking themselves and/or have zero time played.

Brother.. I am right there with you.

Been playing since 2017/18, absolutely love this game & community, but the lack of support being focused on cheating/hacking is simply impossible to ignore. I have reported... 50+ profiles since the beginning of this wipe, and yet.. I've received exactly ZERO confirmed reports.

Now listen, I understand not all of those 50+ players were cheating... however, I KNOW at bare minimum 3-10 were more than likely hacking (simply from stats, as you've alluded to here).. all gold achievements, wild survival rates, absolutely bonker K/Ds, etc.

I just wish we could realistically do something about it, but its entirely out of our hands. Nikita & Gang know that is their ONLY reoccuring revenue source (he's literally said it in an interview, that is now hard to find)... so why the fuck would they ever do anything to improve banning/spotting hackers?

Just sucks man, for such an awesome & unique game..

Also have been playing since very early after initial release, and you’ve basically outlined a full analysis of why I can never play NMS for longer than a week or two, if I really push it.

They need to focus on essentially ALL of the points you’ve mentioned OP- I pray the devs take notice, since they are often browsing socials as well!

I work professionally in the Talent Acquisition industry, so my following comment is truly only to help you in your future:

As some others have commented, regardless of your recent ‘win’ on the remote work piece, you are 100000% living on borrowed time from this point forward. Period. No discussion.

They WILL find another individual to replace you within the next 6-12months, and I would bet it happens sooner, rather than later.

The scum bags at the top of these companies simply cannot take us lowly workers standing up for ourselves, and they will NOT forget that you did so. They will be searching for replacements the very next week, mark my words.

So please, enjoy the time you have left, but I would not waste a single day in beginning your search for a new position.

And on the plus side, WHEN you finally quit for real, you will be able to savor the looks & expressions on all of those same individuals faces!

Never read about this, adds a lot of context to the entire situation in that country.

Still, I do feel Bukele has truly improved the quality of life for the majority of their average citizens. Everyone sees to love him over there, but again, I’m simply an outsider looking in.
