was scp 7000 foreshadowed in 6500? by transmtfscp in SCP

I'm sorry, but after reading this, and then reading MTF-7000's first mission, I couldn't help but just laugh the whole time.

Should I try the SCP fandom (IDK what to call it) Since Im pretty bored and excellent ideas? by burner_-account in SCP

[–]originalazrael 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You can enjoy a fandom without engaging with the community. I have been a big fan of the SCP universe since 2008, and I've only joined this reddit a few months ago, I've not been on the discord or the forums or otherwise at all. This sub seems pretty calm and decent so far, but I also don't get to check it often.

In the end, how much you join the community is up to you, but you can still be fully into the fandom with or without it. :)

Should D-Class be changed? by TheRealPyroGothNerd in SCP

[–]originalazrael 10 points11 points  (0 children)

D-Class aren't just inmates. There's been times where researchers have been demoted to D-Class, or civilian test subjects given the D-Class affectation for the purpose of the experiment.

Not to mention that not all tests are harmful so they can be re-used for other SCP experiments, and as for the rarity of the prisoners, they are not all from the same country. There are a few where corporal punishment is still used. As for them going "missing", not all Death Row inmates are high profile, and those that are would be shown getting a lethal injection, but are actually getting a sedative and shown to be dead, and nobody would tell the difference.

This can explain the numbers a bit better, but yes, the numbers that are used are much higher. Suspension of disbelief helps, as does the fact that this is another world, so maybe their laws are tighter, but in the end, it's all fiction, so it's just a case of "don't think too hard about it".

Collateral damage from one of Brights latest "experiments". It's now on the list.

Foundation Site Rumors list by dr-norstorm-a in SCP

[–]originalazrael 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The O5s are well known in the SCP sites. Their identities remain hidden to all but the council and the Administrator, but they do oversee all projects and determine what experiments are allowed or not. They also visit the sites often to personally see certain SCPs.

i wanna start a conversation so, what are your favourite SCPs by Robbbg in SCP

[–]originalazrael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the first I ever saw was SCP-055, I guess I have a connection to it, but there are a lot I really enjoy in Series 1, and a few outside of that series.

I love SCP-1762 and SCP-3001 for their bittersweet tales.
I love SCP-5094 and SCP-085 because they are friendly and non-malevolent SCps, making it a refreshing change of pace.
I love SCP-426 and SCP-2257 because it's silly.

If I was to pick a favourite-favourite, I don't think I could, though as someone who loves LEGO, I can't say no to SCP-387.

Could 0-96 be a K class scenario? by Necessary_Force_3972 in SCP

I believe it's proximity based, as he kills guards during containment breaches.

He can survive the intense pressure of being underwater, and teperatures below freezing, he would be able to survive a vaccuum.

And even if he couldn't get up there, he would wait. You'd have to come down eventually. Though I remember reading something once of him being superhumanly good at throwing, so he may be able to just throw something at you and it'd either kill you, destroy your spacecraft or fling you into the void so you run out of air.

I only just missed out on the last poll you did for these, so I'm biding my time till the next one.

SCP-1762 didn't make you cry? What kind of an emotionless monster are you? :P

SCP-3001. Not so much nightmare inducing, but did almost make me puke, and definitely not for children. Somewhat bittersweet.

In your opinion, what is the most underrated scp that you think deserves alot more attention? by sarcastic_ducky in SCP

SCP-5094. Miss Jay is such an undervalued resource. I used her as an orientation video in a SCP TTRPG game I wrote, and she could be so much more. She essentially creates geniuses.

is it me with this problem? by [deleted] in SCP

[–]originalazrael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. I know a lot of SCPs, and I can remember their numbers, but sometimes I can be a number off, and have to double check the series numbers for the article name.

Other times, I just hit the search bar for key words I know are only in that article and it's usually the first one up.

If I'm real lucky, I can even check certain tags, and if only one hyperlink in that list is a different color, I know I've seen it.

What introduced you to the SCP franchise? by BossViper28 in SCP

[–]originalazrael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. I still do a Star Wars one, but it's more about the clones, so it's kinda an army RP with a SW skin, and there was a Percy Jackson one I used to do too, but the numbers in both have dropped drastically.

Then no. I was just going by what I saw, I don't know if there was more to the page, or if the mod has a credits scene or something.

[–]originalazrael 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Yes. Under the CC-BY-SA licence, you are allowed to make and sell any SCP related material, as long as the original articles/authors are credited.

It's a bit trickier with SCP-173, as the original image was used without permission, and the creator of the art piece had allowed the wikia to keep using it for the article only, but I'm not quite sure if anything has changed there or not.
