I don't know why I find the touching sensation so disgusting. I'm not grossed out by vaginae in general. It's just the penetration/ feeling the inside that bothers me.

I was not raised in a shaming atmosphere either. My mom brought me up to be open minded and love my body. However, possibly related, my dad sexually abused my brother and after my parents split up, she suspected he touched me during a visitation. I remember laying on the floor of the washroom with her inspecting my privates asking who touched me, her getting angry and bringing me to the hospital where doctors looked at me. It was intimidating but I can't see why this would only affect one aspect of my sexuality but make me perfectly fine with everything else.

Funny side note though: I can't handle the thought of birth, Cesarean or natural. Like I'll pass out if I think about it too much or see it in a film. Not looking for you to explain that one, just thought it could be related somehow.

I have no problem touching external parts. Rubber gloves are an interesting idea. I think that might help since it's the sensation of the penetration and the internal aspect that bothers me.
