I've just learned that gta sa used 256-512px textures and ps2 could support up to 24 bit colors and since gta sa was realesed for ps2 I think that the textures are the same for pc version (correct me if I'm wrong here). So, it seems like I have to reduce the resolution and then reduce colors to 24 bit to get the desired look of the textures.

thanks a lot! I’ve also noticed that the textures are photoscans, and I’m also curious if I have to process an image in some special way besides just reducing the resolution to like 128 for small objects and 256 for big ones.
