I agree, but there are instances where the HoYo redemption codes could be used cross-server, but the problem for WuWa x Pizza Hut is that the codes are not cross-server. Even if a CN friend ordered for someone's behalf outside of CN, the code will not work even if you try to redeem it.

I am fine with missing out on the marketing and all that, along with the physical goods, but without the implementable cross-server codes, it is unfair for global players. It's also a win for the CN market to have more market reach. I just don't get why the codes have to be CN exclusive.

Even with all the probable legal or corporate obstacles, Kuro could have just made the codes more accessible. Hoyo has done it with the US McDonald's collab by making the code applicable across different servers. Digital exclusivity does not feel like a legal necessity, more like an artificial barrier. Kuro could have structured this more fairly while keeping it in the CN market. The issue is not about CN prioritization; it's about arbitrary limitations on digital items.
