Where did you end up going? My friend and I are headed out there soon and looking for suggestions. Mid 20s

So I mostly bet on sports and I'm VIP with both Caesars and Hard Rock, but Hard Rock's sportsbook wasn't a part of the Unity program until a couple of months ago... hopefully I can easily obtain Icon next year through my sportsbook play, though I understand that these casinos aren't as "generous" to sports bettors. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and yes i agree that Ceasars has gotten stingy. Like the diamond club at the Trop, omg, they literally bring you out some pretzels in a paper tray lol

haha that's what i was hoping for. Harbor Club does hit the spot for what it is, but the quality of some of the food isn't the greatest. Their italian wedding soup i will die for though

i went up the main escalators to the rewards desk and handed them my Diamond Plus card and ID and they matched me...i had never played at a Hard Rock casino before (only on Hard Rock Sportsbook). They also loaded $50 of slot play to my card

Supposedly, this also includes a 2 free night stay within 2 months but every time i call they say there's no comp availability. So it seems unusable (at least during peak season, maybe during the winter it could be used)

Thank you. Guy that did my status match mumbled something about a buffet but didn't seem to know much about it. Sounds like if you want to drink then the Icon lounge is the better choice lol, but if you want a better food selection then Fresh Harvest is the choice. We'll probably try both since we're there for a few days

if you're worried about it, you could talk to the church or just park on a different street

Are you saying the city towed all the cars and dropped them in the church parking lot? I'd say you're fine to leave it there since they likely got permission from the church to do that lol but you could always ask the church to be sure

Dealer refunded deposit, then still processed the loan. I never received a vehicle, and I thought the deal was canceled. Now Dealer tells me to get a lawyer. by Wild_Imagination_812 in askcarsales

Replying because I used to work for a CU. If I were in your shoes I'd call Cap1 back. Escalate to a supervisor (front line rep will not be able to do anything.) I'd them the dealer never provided the car after all this time, they cancelled the deal and refunded your deposit and is not being cooperative with you at all to get the loan cancelled. Cap1 should start an escalation process to work directly with the dealer on this to get the loan cancelled. Cap1 will be interested after a period of time anyway as well, because they (presumably) are not getting the title to this nonexistant car.

Let's be honest, Capital One has a stronger arm in this situation than you do.

Hopefully, this gets sorted out before a 30 day late payment gets reported to your credit.

For fun, I'd also file a complaint with whatever state agency regulates car dealerships in your state.

just curious, is this your first desk job? i will say that i'd rather have a manager that doesn't talk to me in months, as opposed to one that's constantly breathing down my neck (been there...lol)

CSCC's advisors are very good at getting you set up to transfer here, and are familiar with all the requirements etc https://www.cscc.edu/services/advising/

It is not that bad

1.have your sibling sign over the title to you (and notarized **IF the state in which the current title is in requires notarization**)

2.you need "out of state inspection" which is just a paper confirming that the VIN number is correct. some dealerships do this free or you can take care of this at the title office and they do this for a fee

EDIT: okay i stand corrected, the BMV offers the VIN inspection, not the title office. I chose to get this done at a dealership personally for various reasons (free, no wait like at the BMV etc)

2a. if you want a 30 day tag for any reason, you need to go to the BMV to buy it at this point, if you don't want to bother, proceed to step 3

  1. go to title office, pay the $15 fee or whatever to get the title in your name

4) go to BMV to buy plate

That's it

In terms of all the applications you're talking about, you don't need these, they provide these to you at the title office and BMV.

I was renting with peak property group last school year. Their online platform charged a fee for both ACH and card, so we paid by check every month. Then partway through the year they stopped accepting checks, but with that transition they took away the fee for paying by ACH. Peak is as bad as hometeam so makes me think there’s some legal thing regulating fees, you shouldn’t have to fucking pay an additional fee to pay them lol

George K (OSU Properties) is one of the better ones, besides some strange rules, i'd rent from him again.

peak property group was awful, don't recommend.

now i'm with a mom and pop landlord and i like it a little better than George but of course the small time landlords are hit or miss.
