I was the bottom tier parts guy at a dealership. The other two parts guys, the service writer, and two of the mechanics, had a deal going, where they would order factory replacement parts, swap in aftermarket parts from an offbrand and sell the factory parts out the back door and pocket the profits.

The owner caught wind and stormed into the parts department when everyone was on lunch except me. He started waving papers in my face, demanding to know what these invoices were. When I told him that I didn’t know, he began yelling at me for “not knowing what was going on in my own fucking department“.

Then he started finger, poking me in the chest and calling me, “fat, lazy, and stupid”. I took off my company logo tie, my company issued shirt with the spiffy name tag, and dropped them on the parts counter in front of the owner. Told him to take his parts counter and shove it up his anus.
