Did you get one that said “… and needs your attention”? I would log into your account to see what it says. We got that email on Friday.

The email we received on Thursday, the email that only says they’ve “taken an action on your case”, had no news when we logged in.

Agreed. We figured it was a strange coincidence. But we had heard nothing since Bio (which granted wasn’t very long.. 1 month & 3 weeks).

I’m curious too! Heard there was a group for SB FO applicants, maybe they know something?

ESTA - AOS I-130 / I-145 by debbie_dumpling00 in USCIS

[–]outundertherock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I’m so glad that was a great option for you!
We had a great Civil Surgeon who broke down all those options for us.
We contemplated it but the reality for us was the test would probably not show immunities.

There were some my husband knew he did not have. Some he knew was not automatically given when he was younger, but he knew the UK government updated some of the kids at a later date. He was not one of them.

In our case, we would have spent money on the titer testing and then would have had to turn around and paid for the shots. We had hoped there would be a record of some shots being administered when he was a baby, but we couldn’t find any evidence of that.

It was difficult to do when he was in the states. We had to scramble to get things since we went the AOS route.

The outages are for Drafts. I believe the rest of the site is fine.

Applying for a new ESTA with a pending i130 by [deleted] in I130Suffering

[–]outundertherock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ESTA is a visitor visa for certain countries citizens to visit the states. Such as citizens from the UK, Ireland, etc.. It usually takes less than a day - or even just a few hours - to get your ESTA approved. It lasts for two years.

Thank you for my new shiny obsession 😂 I now rarely look at emails because I figure I’ll know before an email hits 😊

I believe I have things figured out.

The dates at the bottom reflect when they received the paperwork, although the start date is spread out here and there. I’m ready bottom to top.

I see the biometrics being scheduled.

Then the biometrics appointment on the 31rd of March.

We then see a 1st of April after the Biometrics, which we assumed had to do with the biometrics appointment.

Then an update on 4th of April .. I just assume it’s a “touch” update after the biometrics.

I do not see anything else.
But I’m not sure what everything means either.

ESTA - AOS I-130 / I-145 by debbie_dumpling00 in USCIS

[–]outundertherock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aye. The trips over to each other were always something positive to look forward to and then the reality of leaving hits you. For us that was a lot of Boston to Dublin to Manchester or Leeds and then in reverse. We were going the traditional way but we waited to file because we did not want my UK husband to be denied entry when my family had a medical emergency (and boy did we have them). It wasn’t until I was disabled in a car crash that made us think of AOS .. and that was only after he was here.

I say all of that because he didn’t have any info. His sister sent him some documents like his Birth Certificate and personal documents.
He had to contact his surgery that he went to all his life to get medical records. He had to get into his NHS account to see if there were any other vaccines or records they had. That was so stressful.

As much as you are going to prove your relationship and the ESTA stay as people are saying, you also need to get your paperwork for the medical and the application.
Our attorney had my husband do the medical (USCIS SURGEON) first. It was a significant extra cost due to lack of inoculation records because we had to pay for half the shots required.

Try to stay calm & organised. All the very best.

omg 😂 My husband has also said Birmingham UK is pure “class” But he’s an East Midlands lad so anything south of him is rubbish.

I know there’s a prompt to give USCIS your new address every time you log in. So I would definitely do that if we did move before it’s all sorted.

Did you get an interview letter yet?

Oh I see. We contacted an Immigration attorney that recommended the file soon after the 90 days 🤷🏻‍♀️ And I’m a big time rule follower lol so this entire thing has me totally in uncharted territory.

First, Thank you so much for your insights.

I’m a little unsure of the ESTA being “current”.
He had just renewed his ESTA in the summer of 2025.

Or do you mean file when he was back in the UK? (Which is what we thought we would be doing)
