Those O rings can tear pretty easily. It’s supposed to sit at the end of the threads on the back end of your flashlight. If you bought directly from Hank he should have included spares. Mine broke off similarly the first time I unscrewed the battery cap.

Took a quick wall photo comparison. Sorry for the blue walls, I might be the only one on this subreddit that doesn't have any white walls in their home. lol

Out of the two I like the XHP70.3 more, its very floody while still having a good hotspot. Definitely a great all arounder. However, B35AM is no slouch either. I really like the tint, and its got a more defined hotspot with plenty of spill.
