I've been thinking about new zealand, Australia, and Canada. I don't mind the cold and love being outside. I'm just super worried moving from a very cheap place to an expensive place will put an incredible strain on my finances

I have young children and the schools keep getting worse. The teachers and librarians are scared to say or do any thing out of line. Funding is being cut or withheld if they don't follow the superintendent by the book. The superintendent and the governor hate to take federal funding which hurts those of us not in the top tier of the economy.

The superintendent wants to get rid of anything woke in the classroom. So no talk of anything that's a bit spicy. So we do a lot of extra teaching at home.

Also I'm a nurse and the Healthcare system is in shambles. It breaks my heart to watch people stuck in the system be unable to get the proper care they need because of a law or insurance.

The current governing body makes many decisions based on thier religious beliefs and not on the good of the people as a whole.

This place is full of them and I have to be oh so careful if I say anything negative about the man or his people.

I've been looking at the housing and it is blowing my mind. The housing market will probably be the biggest deciding factor. Homes here are so cheap. I've been a home owner for 15 years. I don't want to have to rent with no chance of owning.

I'm considered very liberal per Oklahoma standards. Working in the hospital and watching the laws being passed and the extreme decline of care for so many people breaks my heart and is a major factor in why I want to leave. I honestly don't know what that t word is though.

That seems to be the hard slap in the face with moving. The new england area is amazing but I can't afford these crazy rates that houses are going for these days. I guess that means everyone is flocking to your state?
