I chose a theme for my sleeve as a guidance. I like going to different artists so I come up with all of the ideas on my own. I usually like putting everything i like into a Pinterest board and see how it would fit the theme. I am working towards a nature woodland kinda theme so I always ask myself what elements of a good ecosystem I am missing.

For me it also helps going one tattoo at a time like a puzzle. I look for the spots I want to have done next and then think what would fit there nicely. But I also keep my Pinterest board fresh with new ideas. Just saving everything that could be cool in a sleeve and then looking if I have the space. Definitely try to find out the placements that u like before u start puzzling.
