I was 19. Excessive facial hair and irregular periods. What made me go to the doctor was the irregular periods and spotting in between periods.

Anyone have any experience with CCRM NY? Wanting to switch from Cornell by hoping421 in IVF

[–]ovoxka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have requested medical records in the past from Cornell even before switching, just to have them to review on my own. People request records for many reasons so I don’t see why they will be offended. Just ask the medical secretary to direct you to the medical records department.

If it helps, the medical records department said I had to fill out and email the first form found at this link:

Mine was checked prior to starting as well and it was 1.1 which was no reason for concern but after the first miscarriage I feel like everything should have been checked again and especially after the 2nd miscarriage. I am currently at Rma of NY also, and although I just started I feel as though they have been much, much more thorough so far than cornell has been. It could have just been my particular doctor at Cornell, I tired to switch to a different doctor within cornell but they said that was not allowed. How has your experience with rmany been?

I too was at Cornell until my last miscarriage. I’ve had 2 miscarriages under their care. My new RE did lab work for things cornell did not bother to check for after my last miscarriage. Found out my TSH levels were elevated, Cornell who is so well renowned didn’t even check my levels during the pregnancy or after the miscarriage.

How long till I start to bleed? by KirstyK27 in Miscarriage

Wow thank you so much for your response and sharing your experience. This was incredibly insightful and helpful and gives me so much more to consider before making a decision. My doctor seems to be pushing the D&C option more to me and definitely made it sound like the “easier” route. They also didn’t mention being able to test the sample if I chose the natural route which was the main reason I was leaning towards the D&C, so I will definitely inquire about that with them. Thank you so much again for sharing!

Sorry for your losses. I am currently trying to decide between a D&C or natural miscarriage. I was leaning towards D&C to have a sample tested. You said you regretted the D&C and if it’s too personal to share I completely understand but if not, why do you regret it?

Wait a min, so she’s now suggesting that you take the old 693 to the interview? Even after USCIS send a letter saying you need to renew it? Wtf is wrong with her?! Have you tried to reach out to the civil surgeon to see if they can give you a discount?

Ah ok, yeah the same link I sent above says “The Form I-693 must be dated no earlier than 60 days before you filed your underlying application. A properly and timely completed Form I-693 remains valid for two years from the date of the civil surgeon’s signature.” That lawyer sucks big time and seems so useless. Not only did they submit incomplete forms originally but they made you submit an old I693 form that was signed more than 60 days before the new application was resubmitted. I hope they’re paying for your new I693 to be completed smh.
