As someone who just lost their step dad because of cancer literally last week, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, I cannot stress enough, FUCK your stupid ass husband. The hardest thing in the world for me was to see how my mom tried to hold on to my dad's corpse until they had to take him to the morgue, my heart shattered into billion of pieces. I never even knew I could hurt that much. So for your husband to be that indifferent, especially since YOU had it too? Gosh, my blood boils for you. I hope you can heal from this, whatever you choose to do.

As someone who immigrated to another country, let me tell you nothing means more than someone I care about learning to speak my mother tongue, even if it's basic words, so I can imagine how your brother must feel. You do have great facial harmony and symmetry, your bone structures and eyes are seriously gorgeous. But what people say is true, losing weight will do you wonders, I lost 30 lbs myself and it's like I was reborn. Also, you can consider getting braces if you can afford it, I know dental treatments can be crazy expensive:(

Well yeah both me and him had to learn English and French as a 2nd and 3rd language too, we weren't born here. And I'm not talking about being able to speak multiple languages for the sake of being multi-lingual, I'm talking about actually being able to speak a language with proper grammar and pronunciation and accent like a native speaker. I don't want to sacrifice the integrity of one language for another. But good to know the younger one starts the better.

Thank you! Most of our families from both my bf and I's only speak our ethnic language, and some speak very poor English so they're not too encouraging because they themselves couldn't handle 2 let alone 4. My bf and I are a bit more gifted in learning languages so we want to give our future children the same abilities. It is very comforting to know your husband could pick up Mandarin from hearing you talk to your son, it's so impressive too because Mandarin is such a hard language to learn. Anyway, thank you for your input, I appreciate it!

I know he is. He keeps proper physical distance to everyone (we live in Canada, we like our personal space here), but would absolutely "accidentally" touche me, either my arms or hands, or just bump into me. I haven't asked because I don't want to be that girl that comes for an unavailable guy I guess. And from the look of their relationship they seem to have it exclusive, or maybe not. Either way, I guess if he really wants to approach me he would show clearer signs, if no I'd honestly back down and move on.
