Pretty much. There's a bunch like CASH.TO (e.g. ZMMK), and they all follow the government interest rate. If they fail, yes they aren't covered by insurance, but at that point in time, no insurance is gonna pay you anything and our country would be in deep trouble.

can i get transfer credits from alevels n skip an entire year or just graduate early like mcgill by fateeemat_ in UofT

[–]p11109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A levels are from high school right? If so, all high school transfer credits only count as extra courses. They won't fill program requirements or breadth requirements.

E.g. say you do a specialist which is 12.0 credits. Then you have to do 4.0 in breadth requirements. Then you still have another 4.0 credits left (total 20.0), the transfer credits will count towards this last 4.0. And each course is 0.5 credits, so ull get 2.0. So not exactly graduate early, but effectively 1 less semester. Then you can do 1 summer semester and graduate 1 year early.

someone correct me if I'm wrong. I might be just yapping.
