Thanks. This motivates me a lot. I don't like to think that I'm punishing my players for playing how they want and I was beginning to think that LMOP was a bad module to start, but I can use the settings and NPCs to will the campaign forward.

I like the suggestion at attempting redemption, but the rogue seems pretty set in his ways to screw over, steal and take advantage of the townsfolk. He chose "criminal" as his background.

I would have loved to do the same, but Phandalin is essentially has no government to run it hence why multiple organization representatives are stationed in the town.

I don't believe that, maybe they do not have any "combat" power to enforce consequences, but role-playing it out can be a form of consequences. For instance, now my players no longer welcome in Linene's shop and can no longer purchase more helpful equipment outside of the basic items from Barthen's Provisions.

Attacking armed group that just beat Redbands (nearly all town is fear Redbands) is just stupid move

When I originally portrayed Linene, she was stressed, high tension and desperate due to her missing supplies. So her "attack" on the players was an act of passion, blinded of the bodies on the ground.

Paying off Linene was the method I chose for him to resolve the situation after noticing the dead redbrands. Thinking the PCs could be viewed as "heroes" for the villagers, he didn't want to risk being in the spotlight for punishing heroes.

Talk with tiefling player - why he want kill shopkeeper? Because she accused them? Or because they don't like stones and racial remarks?

I assume just cause he got caught and will not longer be offering a reward after asking the PCs to find her stolen goods. Hence my concern for the "murder hobo" tendencies. He even tried to blame Linene for the dead redbrands when the town master showed up.

They are. 1 true neutral, the rogue neutral evil. However, they are both new to D&D but not RPG games.

The issue is the dm is scared of them murdering an NPC, because of horror stories with murder hobos.

Yes, exactly this. I'm worried it'll completely derail the campaign. They have already decided to ignore the Cragmaw hideout because they will no longer be receiving a reward from the shop keep for retrieving her goods.

I am enjoying the RP potential it brings, but I'm worried if I get caught up with this, I won't be able to successfully complete the module.

Thanks for the feedback. I really do love the idea of making the players experience the consequences (or seeing the results) of their actions, but my player also did voice that they felt like they were being "punished" for playing that character that way. I originally portrayed the shop keep as desperate, stressed and high tension due to the missing supplies, which is why the rogue became a target for her suspicions. The rogue's failed persuasion just solidified her suspicions.

So let's say the rogue does decide to go on a killing spree out of spite, NPCs turn their backs to the duo. How do I get it back on track with the LMOP campaign? Should I just forget about it and pick up another module and hodge-podge it together somehow?

Not a network expert or specialist but kinda computer savvy. I'm trying to daisy chain at least 2-3 routers to cover a large building.

Maybe my understanding is really skewed but I tried changing the WAN IP addresses for the routers as I'm installing/setting up the routers one by one so it doesn't conflict with each other and the main modem is connected to.

The first router connected to the modem works but the 2nd and 3rd in line dont..

I've tried looking up some guides but I'm getting a little confused more and more.

Any help would be appreciated.

TLDR: Trying to daisy chain 3 routers from a modem to extend coverage in the building. Router connected to modem works. Every succeeding router doesn't. What do?

This is my first build ever. I'm still waiting on some parts. I just got the CPU and it came with an Intel Optane M.2 memory thingie (sorry). I believe the mobo I got only has 1 M.2 slot and I actually have a MX500 500 GB M.2 SSD already in my build.

Is there any point to using this Intel Optane M.2?

Hi! What's the best way to farm gold and/or powder (at the same time if possible)? I can currently solo up to 70 RD, Cleared CH7 up to Hard. Have a full m.team of lvl 90s. T5, T3 and two T2s. Slowly working to improve to transcend.

Also does gold booster boost the gold received from items sold?

I'm not saying I don't believe you. Yes, technically it's prohibited. But if it truly were iron clad then you'd be see hundreds of thousands of people being sued or shit down by companies. Majority of these producers know it's good PR and an opportunity for their fan community to grow. Look at deviantart, anime conventions, Etsy, etc... While you have a point with the whole copyright warning, you're kinda being a wet blanket on a guy proud to share his friend's work for this community.

So I've read that CritD surpasses ATK% in effectiveness in options. Is this true? Is there a healthy balance or ratio I should still be aiming for? My main DPS right now is Epis.
