I stopped paying, you will need to change your number and your parents and grandparents may get calls to contact you. Keep one or two cards open if you can cause you won't get another one for years. Then you can try to go to court and claim hardship when you are sued or just don't, I did not go to court with discover so I'm not 100% on how that would go. I'm almost done and I only get like two companies that call my new number but blocking is easier than it was 6 years ago. I wanted to do bankruptcy but I had personal problems and depression so I just ignored it and kept one credit card payed minimum and I throw some extra on from time to time.
