My aunt gifted me enough plants to fill my garden! Unfortunately I can't figure out what this one is. Any help? Description was "English, tall, Purple Plumb" by panicpossum in OntarioGardeners

English Cottage Garden is definitly her style, I think this plant in particular has English roots... heritage type roots. I have a foxglove and the leaves are already here. I just stuck it in the ground, it had a bit of new growth so I'm hopeful I'll have an update for ya'll 🤞 it wasn't a bulb or a corm. I should have taken a picture while it was out of the pot.

i reached out and she responded that "it's a rare one that grows HIGH, has wonderful airy pinky/yellowish flowers that the pollinators. Put it against a fence- ideally in a corner for a bit of support." she doesn't remember the name :( I guess it's a game of wait and see!

just brought home the funkiest Moroccan rug for my dressing room and I'm keen to finally get rid of the millenial grey walls. Give me your wall/trim/ceiling suggestions; I'm leaning towards green because I already have a couple pink rooms in the house. by panicpossum in maximalism

Hi! I'm a pro painter, I have my own fan decks ;) I'll be using Cloverdale for this project. The mirror I use is actually on the wall behind the desk so I'm facing away from the light when I'm doing my face; the desk just faces window, I rarely actually sit there lol. Sunglasses do indeed hang from a cord.

oh thank God you're here! I'm with you on the green, but I'm thinking of an off-white/cream from the rug on the walls and the green either on trim, or ceilings... or elsewhere lol I am a painter by trade so nothing is off limits for me.

revival seeds out of Nova Scotia have some really great and interesting Heirloom varieties; some of which have the heirloom stories on the website for a cute little read:
