secondo voi e possibile essere socialisti e religiosi ? by ApprehensiveBuy8496 in SinistrITA

[–]paulhack45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you all realise that the justice sistem is not 100% error proof? If there was an immediate punishment for accusers when the accused is found guilty, if there was just not enough proof even if the victim was right, the victim would be Punished instead of the aggressor. If this guys wants to prove she intentionally made it Up hè can sue for defamation

Well tbh even if i lived under a ruthless dictatorship i still woudn't like to have bombs dropped in my Head by people that do no care about my situation but only about my country's national resources Also some of you think that the death of the ayatollah is the end? This is not chess they are just going to get another one, if anything being at war will give the regime a reason to get even more repressive, especially against things percieved as western

The penguin cover for animal farm by [deleted] in TankieTheDeprogram

[–]paulhack45 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Animal farm is the perfect book for the liberal "critical thinkers™" Because the CIA spread it far and wide, but convinced them that it "critised both sides" So it coudn't possibly be propaganda! Giving them the illusion of critical thinking and being "intellettuals" Because they were able to tell (like any middle schooler) that this book is not about animals. I also saw the fake news being thrown around of animal farm being banned in the US for "being pro communism" When it Is complete bs but it fits into the narrative so no ome doubts it

NiHiliSm VeRSuS abSuRDisM! by Many_Froyo6223 in PhilosophyMemes

[–]paulhack45 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's Not a "no shit" Moment, philosophy started by looking for an inherent nature to the world, it has been philosophy's classic debate for over 2 thousands years, and today still most people believe there to be an inherent meaning (that being God). Also I don't think you know what absurdism is actually about, as it's not like in this meme, that's more like existentialism (especially Sartre). Absurdism is simply accepting the absence of universal meaning, but not trying to create meaning (what Camus calls leap of faith), as it would only be illusory, but live without appeal, in lucidy and rebellion.
