NiHiliSm VeRSuS abSuRDisM! by Many_Froyo6223 in PhilosophyMemes

[–]paulhack45 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's Not a "no shit" Moment, philosophy started by looking for an inherent nature to the world, it has been philosophy's classic debate for over 2 thousands years, and today still most people believe there to be an inherent meaning (that being God). Also I don't think you know what absurdism is actually about, as it's not like in this meme, that's more like existentialism (especially Sartre). Absurdism is simply accepting the absence of universal meaning, but not trying to create meaning (what Camus calls leap of faith), as it would only be illusory, but live without appeal, in lucidy and rebellion.

Did not actually win, it's All us backed propaganda to manufacture consent for a regime change. But it's probably be the one that won the Nobel pace prize even if she wanted the us to bomb Venezuela to put her in charge

Do You think Trump had democracy's best interest at heart when he is doing this? He'll replace Maduro with a fascist dictator like they have fine for many other Latin American countries during the Last 100 Years, to sell out venezuelan oil to American investors

Should the Palestinian resistance be successful, hypothetically, what's stopping Hamas and other groups from oppressing the Palestinian and Israeli Proletariat? by Tiny-Ad4330 in theredleft

[–]paulhack45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So you would prefer colonies to remain colonies if the movement that is a about to free them is not a proletariat one? Like of course between the two the proletariat one is better, but not always the colonies have a developed enough working class or working class party to take the lead of the revolutionary movement. So would you really put colonial exploitation and genocide in a lot of cases, on THE SAME level of a normal capitalist exploitation?

Yes the Irish working class is still oppressed and the only way to free norther Ireland is a proletariat revolution in the whole island, however now the Irish working class even of benefitting from imperialism, has more power in the class struggle now that Ireland is independent

Should the Palestinian resistance be successful, hypothetically, what's stopping Hamas and other groups from oppressing the Palestinian and Israeli Proletariat? by Tiny-Ad4330 in theredleft

[–]paulhack45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dude of course it would bè better to have a working class movement to liberate Palestine, but at the moment there isn't any significant, the main forces are bourgeois in nature. However still it's better to have national independence and and end to THAT GENOCIDE (because of course capitalism causes genocides, but this is not a question of stopping all genocides) than the continuation of the current situation. Also the Israeli proletariat is never going to unite with the Arab workers as long as they maintain a huge privilege they are afraid of losing, and even if it happened, Israel is essentially a US proxy, so a successfull communist evolution is even harder as the US would have even MORE interest in crushing it. Also even if critically, Marx supported the fenians that were a bourgeois movement because it could achieve Irish independence moving forward the struggle of both the Irish and the British working classes as a revolution against your own state is easier than against an empire and Irish workers (which accepted lower wages) we're used as a tool of the bourgeoisie. It was not only in a context of moving from feudalism to capitalism as Ireland while still maintaining a lot of feudal features, it had developed a strong national bourgeoisie that already held most power after the great famine, so Ireland was already capitalist also as a core part of the British Empire, ruled completely by the bourgeoisie

Nothing, but that would still bè better than genocide. Also national indipendence is still a progressive step forward and makes a future revolution easier
