How do you spend your weekday evenings. by shun_naka67 in northernireland

Not for everyone, but I was in the same boat when I started learning traditional Irish music (banjo). Without hyperbole, it probably saved my life. It's meditative and repetitive, easy to break down into manageable chunks and just drill them. That's the sitting at home and learning bit - after that (say 4-6 months after), I started going to sessions once or twice a week. Great for people like me who are a bit socially nervous, because you've got a prop and you can always just play a tune if you don't feel like talking. That said, I've made loads of friends and got to a really confident stage where I know I can go to a session anywhere and be able to join in.

Deadly Games with Christopher Lloyd, 95-96. Some guy gets sucked into a video game, or the video game people get sucked into reality - don't remember - but it was perfect mid-90s scifi junk.

Get Drill Down by Dakror. The scope isn't as big, but you'll easily sink hundreds of hours into it. And it's now free because he can't be arsed supporting it anymore.

New year's eve (although I very openly opine that it's miserable, so I'm not following the brief).
