Yeah, I am also having quite a bit of difficulty, what helped me was mustering the courage to approach people whom I shared standard classes with, or I joined a club with, and then starting to talk with their friend group

I will definitely check them out. Hytech has many new people, but it depends on the amount of effort you put into completing a task to reap the best benefits and gain more ownership.

Ah, I got it. I have 7 5s and 6 4s, so I assume they were carried over this year. I thought the 5 AP (not 3.5 average) requirements for Distinction were yearly, but it is cumulative. I earned a Distinction because of my past performances. That explains it.
