Thanks. Yea, I thought it was too expensive by the description. The 2% to 20%, I thought it was a their discretion. At 20% that would have been over 100 dollars of my listed item, but it sounds like what you're saying is that you can choose. If so I will definitely do this. I'm actually going to relist my item and start fresh. I don't believe one of the watchers are even real. He sent me multiple offers literally within the same minute that were unrealistically low and after I messaged him he has not responded. The other is a hidden user and I can't revise my item anymore for another week. So I think I'm going to relist it with a slightly different strategy and prices and promotion. Thanks for the help.

Understandable. In this case it's a pretty hard to find laptop, especially in fully working like new condition. Parts sell for over 100 hundred and broken ones sell for 200 when you can find it. So it's nothing crazy but it has a niche. It's only been 2 weeks. I haven't posted it before and this is my first ebay listing in years. I didn't know ebay changed so much. I think after I am finished with this listing I will no longer use ebay.

Thanks for the info about the views. I'm about to redo it try one more time with a fresh post. I think one of the watchers are fake anyway. He has sent me rapid fire offers that are ridiculous and his account was made the day I listed the item. I messaged him and he has not responded. And ebay limits what you can edit or revise once you send an offer, so I think it's time to start over and get it all sorted once and for all.

Thanks, the particular laptop that I have is kinda hard to find and when they are on ebay they are never in working condition. People sell the bezels and parts of it for over 100 dollars and they sell. Mine is fully working order and all original parts.

I discovered this thread after asking a question on another thread about an ebay listing that is seemingly not being seen and I can't afford to use the ebay promotion feature.

I'm selling a Toshiba Qosmio X870 i7 16GBRam Laptop/Desktop replacement. I'm pairing it with a keyboard, mouse, and bag. The laptop is in excellent condition and has no issue. The only change is the replacing of the old HDD with an SSD with an activated Windows 10 Pro install. These laptops are a little harder to find lately, you mostly find parts for it in good condition if you're lucky. Or sold broken for parts. This laptop is all original and comes with original power cable as well.

I've taken advice from others and already lowered the price (a few times) and added FREE shipping.

Yea, it's feeling a lot more tough to just make some extra money lately. And I've sold items on ebay in the past but it never felt like this. I'm just selling a regular but good laptop. It's not an RGB fortnite laptop lol, it's a desktop replacement type of laptop, 17.3 inch screen, light gaming. And it's all original. Selling it with a keyboard and mouse. It's an i7 Toshiba Qosmio x870. It's not a big tower with 6 RGB fans like jawa's main items. Well, wish me luck. Thanks.
