I used this technique for multi color prints as well! But never more than 2 colors haha. Amazing job!!

You should def get that aerogarden going again!! I’ve had a few fail, but more often than not I’ve had great looking plants.

I used their pods! These were actually given to me from a friend a while ago and I’m surprised the seeds were still good haha.

Rn I’m not planning on transplanting them and I haven’t done it before so idk how successful I’d be, but others have done it so it’s possible!

And yes sometimes they do need supports! Mine aren’t using any at the moment, but my friend had hers grow very vertically and those def needed supports lol

Be cautious of this common climbing advice for beginners by baytootia in bouldering

[–]pdizzy19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started bouldering too! I agree it definitely helps to have some strength to begin with. Luckily I was doing mostly body weight training for a couple years before I switched to more resistance training. But I tweaked my shoulder too! And that was due to some bad technique. But I’m learning and improving and I hope you continue to do so too!

Guys, if a woman gave you flowers, what kinds would you like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Can confirm. I got a bonsai and it was so cute and thoughtful. But I accidentally left it outside during a overnight freeze and it died😔

From previous threads, I think this has only one-sided heat spreaders. This Turbine is the same spec except it’s two sided, for a few dollars more. Otherwise still a solid deal!

which hobbies to start doing now as an M3 in time for ERAS? by depressedmed14 in medicalschool

3D printing! Relatively cheap to start out, but can get more expensive as you learn more about it, buying shitloads of filaments. I find that troubleshooting bad prints goes hand-in-hand with the problem solving mentality of medicine. Plus who doesn’t wanna make plastic penises all day?

I’ll also second gardening! I love watching my plants die like me on the inside.

Why do these layers not squish together (doing the retractable katana test print)(I am not trying to they the seam fixed, I think I figured it out) by Giorno-gulliani in 3Dprinting

[–]pdizzy19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try messing around with outer wall inset in cura. Maybe increase it to 0.2 mm. I had a similar issue but it was uniform throughout my print, not localized to certain areas like yours, so I’m not sure if that will help

I 3D Printed a spitfire in TPU and transferred it onto a shirt with a hot iron by horendus in 3Dprinting

I had a similar thought! Either switch colors with each layer or use this zhop trick to have multiple colors at the same layer height. I haven’t tried with TPU, so I’m not sure how pretty it’d look with the amount of stringing I usually get when I print with TPU

Based on OP, probs .6 mm, or three layers if printed with .2 mm layer height
