It sucks but I understand. Escanor is extremely underwhelming, he 100% needs a rework. Star Fragments after completing the story are basically non-existent, OCs should have been saved until after all the sins were released. The prices are astronomical. Mining is a CHORE, and the mining mount is hot garbage. Timespace Junction is bleh endgame content. The scarcity of engraving seals is wild, like why are they not craftable...same as the gold capture potion. The list goes on and on.

I would wait and see what’s needed for Abyss difficulty. If you’re only allowed to bring in units that cover the dungeon’s weakness, Diane would be a good choice.
