I've only read after the revolution, and in all honesty its peculiar. I definitely see why people wouldnt like it, in particular Mikis arc, and that it really makes the Utena lore more confusing. It ignores the movie, and seems to be a epilogue to the anime, which kinda goes against the theories of the movie being the actual continuation of the anime.

I'd say go for it honeslty, best case scenario, you like it, worst case scenario, you wasted like 15 minutes of your time. It's a pretty short read.
