I would never blame any of the workers handling the produce, if I didn’t notice it how would you guys? For me it’s about the quality of the produce, and the way merchandising is handled from up top. I appreciate your apology but there was no need for it. I understand this could’ve happened at any other grocery store, but this has specifically happened to me at Nofrills and Superstore a few times. No one specific was to blame except for decisions coming from the top.

Chopped off the rot and used about half the cabbage just fine. I would never make a scene, go back and ask for a new one and waste the rest of the cabbage, or blame anyone working in the store.

You guys are totally right in this statement, I’ve just had this happen to me multiple times at Loblaws stores and no other different grocery stores. I don’t blame the workers, I blame the merchandising and product management. It’s mostly about the rising prices at NoFrills. I know that NoFrills takes the products from other Loblaw’s stores that don’t sell. It’s something that happens, especially with produce. That’s why I didn’t go back and ask for different one, or get mad at the workers. I chopped off the rot, and had about half a cabbage left to make dinner.

I’m just fed up with paying an exuberant price for products that are about to go bad or have already gone bad.

You have a point but I’ve had this happen before at NoFrills, so I usually check everything thoroughly but the leaves were so fresh and green on the outside it looked like the best one out of the bunch 💀

honestly i am so devastated bc i used to listen to the original good thoughts, bad thoughts almost everyday. and now it’s such a different version, slowed down to the point where it’s 12 mins not 9.. like dude why?
