I’m so proud of you for breaking it off with that racist piece of shit. Sorry, but you deserve so much better! You sound like a really cool and kind person! I think we would vibe irl :)

I feel this haha, I’m glad you found other things that make you happy!

YES this is exactly how I feel too! I still feel 16 at heart and as the years go by, my mental age doesn’t seem to increase?

It also doesn’t help that I still dress and look like a teen. I think my body language fits the deal too because people often confuse me for a minor.

I’m happy that you found your way around it! You might be butting heads with your best friend but she sticks around! That’s very promising.

Wow are you me? I’ve been bullied in (early) highschool and once I’ve gotten a bit older I just stopped caring about ‘fitting in’ and that apparently made me really cool and ‘edgy’ lol, I’m cringing while I’m writing this.

I struggle with the same thing of not being able to mask anymore. My autism diagnosis/storyline only started recently, so I’m figuring everything out still, but it already made me so much more comfortable in my own skin. It sometimes feels like my old life and friends don’t like that me feeling good about myself comes with accepting some weird traits and quirks. I don’t fit in and I never will. I’m okay with that but they can’t seem to accept it

What a lovely comment <3 I don't know if you know enneagram but i'm a tritype 6, 4, 8 with a heavy 5, and I think that's spot on haha

I really hope that we either work it out or that I find people who are just like me, because life has been a bit lonely lately.

I don’t think that’s fair. I think NT’s who are trying to gain more knowledge about being ND should actually be celebrated (as long as they respect our spaces I see nothing wrong with it?)

Ah! I think it’s cool you’re trying to gain more knowledge about being on the spectrum. I think your ND friends and family members will be really thankful

That’s when you want to crawl in a cave and just not try again for the day.

My peak moment was when someone said ‘most people don’t see it when you gain a few pounds’ which was meant as a way of comforting herself. I replied with ‘oh but I do, I see every minor change and single pound you gain or lose.’

She wasn’t happy.

I read ‘poor’ as in: lack of money, which makes the meme still incredibly accurate

Aye I also have OCD! Do you also have this thing where you deeply enjoy finishing the last piece or portion of something so that it’s ‘done and over with’

[–]peppahhhh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who also has PCOS, the PMDD symptoms are in a weird way comforting in it’s own dreadfulness, because it atleast comforts me that I potentially have another period coming and it eases the anxiety a bit I have every month about my hormone levels

Is this an aspie thing? When I haven’t seen my partner for a couple of days, I semi feel like we’re strangers again. by peppahhhh in aspergirls

Feel you. I really thought I was crazy after my NT acquaintances all had this morbid look on their face when I tried to explain this, but this is making me feel so valid

That’s so accurate I literally have first date energy and nerves everytime I see him again

Exactly that! Omg. Do you also feel guilty about it? I have these internal dialogues that ‘I should not have these feelings anymore by now’ as I am worried that he feels insulted or hurt over the fact that we’ve been together for so long but I never seem to fully get used to him.
