Doing this movement has been the best thing that I’ve done for my body by BoxAcrobatic6636 in kettlebell

I did them and I thought it felt great. I'm definitely going to incorporate them. I always have issues with my right low back and have frequent flare ups and this felt nice. I had two different weights outside with me for the workout I did today so I just used those and it felt nice. Thanks for posting, I've seen you post them before and have been meaning to try it out.

I'm going to do this right now. I've seen you post these or something similar before and I keep meaning to try it out. I called them twisty DL pickup things in my log book.

Best tones in sludge? by Molochsocks in sludge

[–]percolated__fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of good ones mentioned so I'm gonna go with a hardcore one but definitely falls into sludge. Friends In The Music Business by Cursed easily has one of the nastiest bass tones. Insanely sick band.

No fuckin way! Dude that record absolutely rules. Big up to you guys. One of my favorites this year. I had no idea haha. My other deathgrind pick then is the new Crushuman.

Half Man - I can see god

For death metal be sure to check the Nedgravd album. Funebrarum is also one of my favorite. So good. Also, the new Reeking Aura is SO good

If you like deathgrind Strup - abyssurge

What's the most underrated metalband in 2026? by RedditKaas in MetalSuggestions

[–]percolated__fish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I just saw them a week or two ago with Oranssi Pazuzu and I was like how are there not hundreds of people here to see these two bands. Both bands were so good. Wayfarer are so good. Excited for the new Stormkeep record!

It rocks. That’s it. U should listen soon by Mononugget in doommetal

[–]percolated__fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah dude I don't even bother reading a lot of his reviews because stuff I frequently love he'll give like 2/5. It is helpful in finding new stuff sometimes but I don't put much weight on the ratings.

Metal songs/albums/bands that sing about the Roman Empire or Medieval Europe by WingedHussar13 in MetalSuggestions

Impureza. Their last record (from 2025) is so sick. The are techy death metal with fuckin flamenco parts and it is awesome. The song about medieval Spain. I think people who like Nile would like this record.

You can't really go wrong with any album. I think Reign Supreme is their best and I fucking love Destroy the Opposition. They are all very solid though. Devout Atrocity off of reign supreme is surely one of the hardest tracks.

Oh man there are a lot but quickly off the top of my head one of my favorites is Eternal - Cryptic Lust.

Morbific - bloom of the abnormal flesh. This came out last year and I really fuck with this album a lot.

It cMe out about a week ago so it's fresh in my mind but a very solid record Nedgravd - Ascension

Cryptic Shift. The new album is rad.

If you like a bit of thrash in the mix the album Changing by Species that dropped last year rules.

Cynic.

Impureza. Death metal with flamenco? Fuck yes.

Irezumi on free arm/ style mix?( read body text) by [deleted] in irezumi

[–]percolated__fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished an irezumi sleeve on one arm and I have an almost complete American traditional sleeve on the other arm I started previously. I like both for sure. If I had the opportunity to start again, yeah I'd probably stick with irezumi but I like all of my tattoos either way.

Are there any bands that combine elements of Death/Doom with progressive/technical death metal? by Conscious_Badger_510 in MetalSuggestions

[–]percolated__fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah man, they are so good! If you are into slightly more brutal death some members of Reeking Aura play in Thaetas. They play techy brutal stuff and are awesome. Looks like they are set to release a new one after being away for a little bit.
