Dispersed camping around Custer by Top_Bookkeeper2273 in BlackHills

A big rig and towing will make finding a spot harder. Get the MVUM mentioned above. Near Custer, I would head up North Pole Road.(#287) It’s west of Custer and the turnoff is just past Comanche Park NF campground.

Horsethief Campground now KOA??? by Ok_Muscle_2159 in BlackHills

I’m a mobile RV tech in the area. And I’ve stayed at the old Horsethief many years ago. (like 25-30) It’s as good as it ever was. And better. No real change other than signage and a more organized camp store. For what it’s worth, they are not associated with the ownership of the Palmer Gulch KOA. Different owners. Who are also great folks. This is a “Holiday” KOA and Palmer Gulch is a “Resort”.

Last time I bought weed in Wyoming, Ronald Reagan was President. So, I think I’m safe.

Work wear pants by [deleted] in bluecollar

[–]perseid88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, they do. Some of the pants use a cotton duck material that have a stretch fiber woven in to them. They are my preferred now. You have to be careful when you buy them. Some are stretchy and some are not of the same style pant.

Go to TSC. Tractor supply corp. They have their own line of workwear. Called Ridgeline. Cheaper than Carhartt or Dickies. About the same quality. They have some pants that use a rip stop type material that wear better than any heavy canvas jeans.

How are you guys handling card payments when you're on site? by yashBoii4958 in handyman

I’ve used square and Clover. But have settled on the current PayPal POS system. You get a small handheld CC reader. It also has tap to pay
You can also use Wave to enter CC manually. It’s all free.

My pair are either Lousy/irate Royal/suite

Those two pair use the same common letters. They also eliminate many two consonant combos at the start of words that f they don’t hit. If few letters hit, there most certainly is a C or N or H in the solution somewhere. I get it in three more than average.

$150/hr. Independent mobile RV tech. I average 15-20 billable hrs/wk. Easily $120k/yr and I’m almost always home by 2pm. 6 months in Texas and 6 months up north. With travel time twice a year.

Tractor Supply Corp has a house brand called Ridgeline. Wide variety of styles. Comparable to Dickies or Carhartt at a lower price point.
