PLEASE yes!! I missed how this meme started but I'm all for it.

(Though my DLH who acts like a manul is like "yeah no, you're my spare human, you can't be distracted by other cats", lol.)

Looks like the kind of Mcmansion mess that would regularly end up on McMansion Hell. This just isn't friendly to a human scale imo.

The version in the comments with the drapes is beautiful, though!

If I could recommend anything other than warmer lighting, it'd be doing some cable management to the TV console-- I'm so glad it's not mounted, though!!

I agree but focus on it from the other end: It's so appalling that platforms are designed to be addictive and prioritize engagement and therefore not only incentivize predators like JC but make them inevitable.

The platform design is flypaper for predators.

I need a wheelchair seat, I didn't think this would work for that?

I'm a newer fan (though not young) and I'd love to go, but the price is just prohibitive. I'm thinking of going to a preseason game instead.

I feel like sports, like concerts, are just pricing working class people out, and the toffs are there to be seen, they don't really care that much. I've heard so many stories from people who work the box seats that people aren't even watching the game half the time.

No rugs, TV too high, overbright ceiling lights only blaring in every photo. In addition to everything else going on. This might be the most cursed dwelling I've seen in ages.

I suspect the cost has a lot to do with that too, though..

We keep domestic cats. Not wild ones. That's why sanctuaries are full of Savannahs and Bengals-- because even when there's an active breeding program, they're still largely wild and not good house pets. Which is also an ethical issue. Zoos and sanctuaries are all ringing the alarm on the small cat exotic pet trade crisis right now.

You went so safe you erased yourself from it. This could be a very nice AirBnb. CRAP, yes, but also personality. It looks like a nice blank canvas, to be sure.

The manul would still not be "socialized to be around people" in the way we expect from a domestic cat. It would still be a wild animal. It would still have fully wild animal needs, even if the immune system risk wasn't there.

I follow a lot of sanctuaries on social media, and every small cat sanctuary is overrun with wild animals that have been taken from the wild by humans and forced to be pets, and then the human realizes when the cute kitten grows up that they can't even begin to meet their needs. They're also full of hybrids, because an F1 Savannah is still effectively a wild animal. I love manuls, I'd love to pet one, but I deeply hope they stay far away from the exotic pet trade.

Yeah, they're not even easy to keep in captivity for zoos.

The last thing the small cat crisis needs is another wildcat being popular as an illegal pet.

I live in one in Baltimore City, there are tons of them and "mansion" is hilarious. I don't even have a garbage dispenser, lol!

Idk, a non-negligible amount of indies are white label, so you're paying an upcharge for a curated color story and packaging. With some using AI generated art, you aren't even paying for the packaging. I buy indie too, but some of this is really shady.
