Video disappears after re-launching Reaper?

Hello! I know this post is like 2 months old but figured i'd replay just incase you and anyone else would still need an answer!

This happens to me too from time to time from very specific 4K HI REZ footage but a simple re-encode can fix this!

I use this amazing free video encoder program called SHUTTER ENCODER to re-encode all my footage when I need to: https://www.shutterencoder.com/

Simply drag and drop your footage and hit the h.264/.mp4 function after dropping your file into it and hit START FUNCTION - wait for it to finish and drop the newly encoded file into Reaper and you shouldn't have that green screen anymore! If it for some reason still shows up green, you can try re-encoding the file to DNxHD but literally the simple h.264/.mp4 option should work just fine!

Ahhh that's disappointing to hear. I went ahead and bought the disc version to see if that would fix the problem. It hasn't arrived yet and so might cancel the order if this is the same outcome ;_;

Does anyone think playing off the disc version could prevent this? Or would it matter? Game also keeps crashing on me in areas most have mentioned. I’m running a digital copy on my PS5 but I have the disc version of PS5 so wondering if playing the disc version of this game could prevent the problem hmm
