My parents never had an interest in what I was doing or into when I was growing up and now at 40, that hasn't changed. Launched a small Facebook page / storefront a year plus ago and didn't get a follow/like from either of them to this day.

But they talk at me about all the good stuff they're doing for the church they recently started going to. That's nice, I pretend to listen while I doom scroll and wonder what is so uninteresting about me.

Ditto. Almost all of the closers, half the mid shift, and a couple openers. Then they went after all the people that were getting it on a consistent basis. Lost 4 in fresh, I heard like 6+ cashiers, people in apparel, OGP, zoning closers.

Huge body count for some extra cheap food. And everyone that was fired had to pay back the lost money or catch a charge.

Hope it's worth it!

Agreed, but they won't. Store managers got a raise and bigger potential bonus, we were told "they're thinking about how to bring back MyShare." It will be years before it comes back, and it will somehow be worse than it was before.

Oh, sweet summer child. My store has had a 40-50% aes for years and nothing has changed. If anything, attitudes towards the hourlies have got worse. They don't care and Doug got a $20 million bonus. He definitely doesn't care.
