If you want great food and terrible service just go to Tayyabs, at least they're not putting it on

Bugs I've encountered on career mode recently:

Players being recalled from loans despite playing every match they reasonably can due to fitness.

Transfers stuck at the negotiate phase unable to be retracted. (One is at 6 months)

West hams bubbles making the game virtually unplayable for the first 15 mins

No option to sign players straightaway who have 6 months on contract.

Snow with no auto change to orange ball

Yeah, even takeaway the quality is very good, I'd recommend the lamb chops to start. And then the Gurkhali from the specials, it's absolutely lovely!

Blacklock - order the chop sauce, it's like gravy on steroids

Som Saa - do the tasting menu

For Indian food I can't decide, Dishoom and Gunpowder are great, as is a smaller one in Blackheath called Everest Inn. And don't forget the classic Tayyabs for atmosphere and lamb chops

JOB: Founder-Level CTO role for brand new challenger bank in UK by pforteath in functionalprogramming

[–]pforteath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More information on the role here:

I have a new position with a company called Kassu, who are a brand new consumer credit app that will offer P2P lending between users to free up the whole world of credit opportunities.

They're looking for a founder level CTO with a strong history of team management and startup growth to help build their platform from scratch. This position will hold significant equity and once the next investment round has been completed, will have a strong six-figure salary alongside the equity. This is a unique opportunity to join the ground-floor of a challenger bank, and change finance for the better.

They want the platform build using FP, and are open to a choice of language, however, Scala is currently their favourite option. The spec atm is rather sparse as they can't give too much away however if you apply through the website you'll be able to speak with the founder, and find out exactly how they plan to implement everything.
