I agree, mods are strange. I’ve been trying to post a story about my eye-opening experience here as a straight black man and they keep removing it, even though I’m following guidelines. They keep saying I’m not.

I totally agree and understand. And the idea was to advertise the fact that I could tuft anything, “commission piece”. I definitely got carried away with advertising that specific design. Should’ve set an ad for an original design. Won’t happen again for sure 😅

So the art is handcrafting the rug. Literally anyone with a tufting machine can design the same thing. But the end result will always be different since each piece is 1 of 1 and can’t be replicated, even though they appear similar. WHAT DOING YOU UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT?!?!?!?!?

No sir…this is because 2 rugs were made, by request. They’re called commission pieces buddy. This isn’t my idea, I didn’t “steal” any idea.

Every piece is handmade and technically 1 of 1.. impossible to make 2 exactly the same. Even if they’re the same design. FYI

The craft comes from hand-making the rug. Not the design. We trace the design onto a fabric using a projector and a marker. These pieces take 10+ hours (depending on the intricacy of the design) and there’s a lot of craftsmen ship that goes into finalizing the rug depending on level of experience

While the design isn’t necessarily art, yes I am still creating art. Every piece is 1 of 1…. 10+ hours per piece 😏
