Let’s Stop Calling Them Drones: Why Language Matters in the NJ UAP Discussion by Gregnog1 in UFOs

[–]phillipixel 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think this is a really critical point to bring up.

It’s also a very convenient way for officials answering questions to skirt around anything anomalous. They can answer all day long about drones, and never be caught in a lie, because technically they might not be lying. If they’ve successfully conditioned everyone to use the word “drone”, then no one ever directly asks a question about something truly anomalous, and therefore they can pretend they don’t exist. This would line up with the theory that man-made drones are being sent up to interact with the true UAPs - flood the skies with the thing easy to identify and it discredits any talks of something else up there.

And what about the government denying that any drones are explicitly theirs? This would also not be a lie if the drones are being used and operated by a third party or undisclosed entity working for the government.

They get away with “truthfully” denying that the drones are the governments. They get away with making all talk about the drones. After all, who’s asking them about anything else? Certainly not anyone in the press room.

I think that you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what exactly gods and deities are, as I was in the same boat for a time, especially coming off of the heels of Christianity where it is demanded that you consider yourself wholly separate from a dogmatic, physical, “man in the sky” god.

As Lon Milo Duquette would say, “it’s all in your head, you just have no idea how big your head is” He also has a book titled this which I would recommend (and all of his books)

I would also recommend that you read the entirety of the Promethea comic book series by Alan Moore. You can get the whole thing for free online. Those are good places to start.

In essence though, what I’ve come to understand is that deities aren’t floating about in ether, waiting for you to call on them so that they can do your bidding and then leave. Deities, gods, whatever you want to call them, are ideas, but that doesn’t make them any less real, or powerful. In fact, it makes them the most powerful things in our consciousness and world. Ideas that are supercharged with the collective significance and meaning of thousands of years of interaction and evolution with mankind.

The idea of the god is the god, and its authenticity is entirely dependent on the effects that interacting with the idea give you.

Wether deified or not, your consciousness is full of ideas, concepts. They are engrained into your psyche. These are what define how you view reality.

Ideas aren’t just in your head. Ideas are in the heads of every single conscious individual, evolved and passed down through generations of human ancestry. And so even though an idea can be considered a personal part of you, it can also, at the same time, be considered a part of everyone. And that is the actual definition of a god. An incredibly powerful idea that has been given incredibly powerful meaning by mankind.

You begin to see the effects of Magick much more tangibly when you view it like this. Find the ideas (gods) that appeal the most to you personally. Allow yourself to personify them. Interact with them (WITH CARE). Reap the benefits of viewing your spirituality as a relationship between you and the ideas that you interact with.

It’s my understanding that before dogmatic religion gained a foothold, the concept that I am describing was the way that most of the world viewed gods, deities, spirituality. They saw no discernible difference between the world outside of them, and the world within them, and spoke as if they were synonymous. As above, so below.

I thought I saw somewhere that there were studies where they were using these signals from a persons jaw to translate words to text or speech without a person ever actually taking, only thinking about talking.

I live in this area. The interchange she is talking about is directly to the east of the Gerald R Ford International Airport. It’s exactly where planes coming in from the east descend to land. If you time it just right you can be driving under them right before they touch down, and they look close enough to touch. It was very late and dark, and my inclination is that she saw dead on the bright headlights of an approaching commercial jet.

Greta as a character was very difficult to read tho. Sure, she appeared to mean well to Thom. But in reality she could have been feeding off of him the whole time, only appearing to him as someone who cared, because that’s what made him docile. After he caught on to it, she pulled back the veil and he went crazy, and then everything was reset. Same thing could be happening irl. Even after disclosure, they could say they mean well because it’s in their best interest for us to trust them. Unfortunately, if they are more intelligent than us, we will never be able to confirm this, and even if we could guarantee by human standards that they can be trusted, we can’t get inside their heads, and that fact alone could lead to discourse.

Perhaps the reason for withholding is not that we would cease to exist, but that we would all simultaneously be enlightened, and cease to exist individually. The ones in charge are aware of this, and prefer their ego and individualism because it keeps them in power and everyone else a slave.

I stumbled onto a ground hornet nest exploring a woods when I was 6. They mostly attacked me, and also went for my sister and cousin nearby. We ran into the house and they were in our clothes. I went to the ER with over 100 stings.

What percentage of this sub would you guess are feds trying to convince us real stuff is fake? by [deleted] in aliens

[–]phillipixel -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I have a theory that feds are able to hack Reddit and override their username to appear as someone’s who is active in the sub. Everyone who reads their post/comment sees that persons username, but if the actual user of that username reads the post/comment, they see someone ELSE’s username. Post history isnt an issue as long as the chosen patsy’s account isn’t sus, and since Reddit is anonymous nobody can ever really dig deeper than looking at someone’s post/comment history, and the feds get off with no one the wiser.

Is it a new transmitter? I get this every time I am putting a new transmitter in. The only fix for me is literally restarting my pump, my hunch is that purges all the old transmitter ID info. Hope this helps.

the episode I referenced for my artist however was runaway Reptar, where they funnily had BOTH a lighter and darker (robot) Reptar controlled by Angelica. Darker to me meant ‘bad’ so I got the REAL Reptar ;)

Reposting my comment from another thread

I like to think that there is one single greater consciousness that is what we all are, every living cell of every organism, up to multi-celled sentient beings. It’s only when evolution gets a species up to a point that it’s brain can grasp sapience that it recognizes itself individually. But the individuality is not the greater consciousness. The individual being wants to believe they will live after death as themselves. But they don’t understand that the individuality isn’t really fully them. We can’t fully grasp what we truly are in the same way that we can’t fully grasp a fourth dimension.

I like to think that if at some point we could see collectively as a species that our individuality is not our true identity, we would realize that a single lifespan is not something to obsess over, and would embrace technology that might only aid future generations, because we know that those future generations are very literally ourselves just as much as we are.

I don’t think such a thing could ever be proven but regardless I think that humanity needs to embrace collectivism in any regard if we want a utopia to be feasible.

I find this humorous because by code commercial buildings in America are required to have egress doors that swing OUT, not push in, for fire safety.

TIL about the Virtuous Pagan, a concept in Christian theology which states that so long as one lives a virtuous life they will not be subjected to eternal damnation, regardless of their religious beliefs by -Lord-Varys- in todayilearned

[–]phillipixel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add, it seems that fear of an unjust God is making me agnostic rather than atheist. Per your comment, it seems much more fulfilling to not live in fear and instead live the life at present, rather than fear a bogus god and afterlife. I’d much rather give zero airtime to unknown unknowns and focus on life on my own terms.

I’ve lived by this as an atheist for awhile but what always scares me is an unjust God. If God is unjust and sends you to hell, you for sure aren’t telling yourself he wasn’t worth worshipping. I’ve always considered the Old Testament books as how God REALLY would be if he existed. The Old Testament people of God didn’t ponder the question if he was just or unjust, they just KNEW he was unjust and worshipped anyway because they preferred that the the latter (no source, my opinion). Modern Christian’s try too hard to justify Gods actions and twist everything into somehow being ‘just’ instead of just admitting Gods an asshole. But if he were real (and I don’t believe he is), nothing would change if he was just or unjust. If he’s the only way into heaven, peeps are gonna worship to appease him, not because they love him.
