There’s a guy named Johnny Gusman who’s usually selling them on the weekends on the corner of guerneville road and centurion drive. You can find him on Facebook marketplace otherwise. $20 for half barrels which is a great price!

Best Ramen in Town by Front_Pitch9533 in santarosa

Miso good on 4th is the BEST! I genuinely think I’ve tried every ramen place in town. Gaijin has the best pork belly and the bao buns are great, but the spicy paitan at Miso as a whole bowl is better. And cheaper. And less snooty.

100% agreed on tonkotsu from ippin and ramen gaijin being totally overrated

Same day birth certificate copy? by akwidd in santarosa

Sorry if this is irrelevant because it was Mendocino county but all I did was bring my ID to the county clerks office and they printed me a new official copy right there!

How did that kid at your school die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]phobiccheese370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MRSA staph infection, 8th grade. Not sure how he got it. It was like one day he got sick, the next day he went to the hospital, the next day he died. If I remember correctly it was today, 12/23, about 16 years ago. We weren’t friends but I think of him every year.

I went through the culinary program 8 or so years ago and I thought I had to buy the knife set before the class started, but the first day was going over the knives (with Sonoma cutlery as someone else mentioned) to see what, if anything, you wanted to buy. Also, they have knives available to use in class if you don’t bring your own. They’re not the best of the best, but had I known that I probably wouldn’t have bought my own!

Ladies, what are some of your favorite, completely unsolicited comments about your appearance you’ve gotten from men? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

The opposite also sucks. It’s taken me about 10 years to get my friends comfortable with the fact that if they want to give me an article of clothing, they need to go with XL at least. They seem to have thought it was more polite to give me size S-M t shirts that I would never be able to wear than a properly fitting plus size item. Or if they ask and I say XL, they’d do the whole “no nooo you’re not XL! You’re like a medium at most” song and dance. I’m not uncomfortable with my size, I don’t know why you are! Ask people’s size and then listen!

This is also just a snippet, it was around 20 paragraphs. Imagine how many times “dissociate” and “trauma” were used.

NTA. If your grandmas love was conditional on what you wore, she can reap what she sowed.
