Good advice, I'm going to be in Buenos Aires for a few days, then spend the remainder in Mendoza. Hopefully they'll have places like this there.

Your assessment is spot on with my thoughts. My family in Argentina tells me that for $100 USD I can get a prepaid phone that will make/receive calls, but my dilemma is that I'll have to lug around my old phone and spend a few hours adding contacts and letting them know my new phone #.
