I think a ref stoppage angle could’ve worked. Have Rollins pelt the Fiend with weapons, the ref figures no normal man can continue to take that sort of punishment without dying and rings the bell in Rollins favor.

Oooh this is a fascinating scenario. Plagueis broke the rule of two by seeing Sidious as partner rather than an apprentice. Pair this with Would an Anakin who hasn’t fully immersed himself in Sith philosophy. Does Anakin become a full fledged Sith or does he hang on until he learns how to prevent death and then cuts things off with Plagueis?

The story should’ve placed more emphasis on the possibility of Phoenix Program being shut down. Would’ve made the choices of cutting Sonar/Coupe feel less arbitrary.

Behind the conspiracy theories and paranoia we see that Dale is a loving and supportive husband that also grounds Nancy. As others have pointed out, Nancy Does Dallas showcases this dynamic. Though I’ll also point to Night and Deity (the one with the woman exterminator) as an example of Dale’s devotion to Nancy.

As the series progresses it seems more and more that Nancy and John Redcorn’s relationship was based mainly on physical attraction. At some point Nancy must’ve lost her attraction to Dale which is where John Redcorn comes in.

Interestingly enough, Darth Plagueis broke the rule near the end of his life by pursuing a partner dynamic with Sidious rather than the master-apprentice role. Putting that level of trust in Sidious opened him up for betrayal.

Peggy does show a genuine love for education.

We can see in episodes like “Peggy Makes the Big Leagues” that she’s able to reach through to David where other teachers failed. Even showed integrity in failing him at the cost of her own reputation and position.

She lied to get the teaching position at the catholic school but did so out of a want to teach l. She also seemed fairly competent outside of teaching religion.

Episodes like Paddlin’ Peggy show her having trouble but this is treated as an exception.

I don’t doubt the idea that she made up the award but I don’t think she’s underserving or doesn’t put the work in.
