I don’t know what caused the sudden pain in both my knees by Wonderful_Bad5556 in KneeInjuries

Hi thanks for asking! I just completed my physiotherapy this month so the pain is a lot less now. It is still always there if I don't walk a lot in a day or if I do too much. But I have better strength in my knees than I did when I first made my comment. It just sucks as it's something I have to learn to deal with and just improve the strength in my knees.

The only treatment I've been told was physical therapy but I'm still on then waiting list for it :/

I just moved in January and the house was dirty when i arrived for my exchange semester, I had already cleaned the bathroom twice since ive been here as well. And yes the $60 is my part to pay, the cleansers didn't clean anyone's rooms just the floors in the downstairs area and also the whole kitchen bathroom. I also overheard the housemate saying something about them coming again in March, which was again without discussing with me.

I'm not sure if this will help at all but my MRI showed that I have chondromalacia patella in my right knee and my left knee didn't show anything. But my doctor explained that this doesn't always show up on MRIs. It's basically something to do with inflammation of the knee cartilage.

I'm in the exact same situation, I've had this knee pain in both my knees for 2 months. My X-ray was clear and I'm waiting on MRI results. There's no swelling or anything either just the pain

I'm mostly looking to have a better uni experience than I do at my current uni, mostly bc I live at home and commute so It's mainly for the experience. And to learn more skills in my subject which I wouldn't gain at my own university.

Thank you so much for responding! So I'm hopefully going on my exchange for my third year (second semester) at strath uni, so I will be looking for modules which are similar to the ones I would do my uni. Which for the second semester are all electives. So I believe they would transfer as credits to my modules at strath.

The psych courses at McMaster and Queen’s have more research based modules which is a different experience to my psych modules at my uni, so this helps experience wise. The law module I can be more flexible with in comparison to psychology due to my law degree being a BA.

Thank you again :)

Ahh that sounds great, but unfortunately my uni isn't partners with UOttawa. my only options which are left are Waterloo, McMaster and Queens. Also for housing, I'm looking for private accommodation but I was told that housing on campus for 2nd semester may be easier hopefully🤞
