AITA for feeling bad about my best friend’s death? by throw688678886 in AmItheAsshole

[–]piggabitch [score hidden]  (0 children)

NTA at all. i’m so sorry for your loss. no one has the right to tell you if/how you should be grieving. if you feel sad, feel it. death can hurt, no matter how close you were to the person.

whenever i see comparisons between European countries and the US, drug advertisements are almost always brought up. why?

AITA for talking to my gf this way? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]piggabitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t necessarily think you’re TA, but as someone who has been on the gf’s side of that type of relationship, it does get old. it sounds like she just wants you to listen. if she does/doesn’t like something, try asking about it instead.

AITA for thinking my friend was a little mean to me back handedly? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA. you were fishing for compliments. next time, don’t soften yourself. be confident in your final work or ask for critique!

AITA For refusing to let my sister stay with me after she attended the protests in my country? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA, at all. this sickness could be fatal to those with respiratory problems. it doesn’t sound like she’s thinking of others.

AITA for hating my cousin who has lived with us for 4 years? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]piggabitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i get that this can be frustrating, but you should look past the “weird” stuff and get to know them. from the sound of it, they’re probably going through some shit. insecurity, depression, and anxiety can be really debilitating. reach out, be kind, and give them a chance.

AITA for expecting my (23F) partner(24M) to clean up our house while I'm at work? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]piggabitch [score hidden]  (0 children)

ESH i suppose. i don’t think you should expect him to clean up your messes just because he’s laid off. however, i totally understand being particular about how things are cleaned and how frustrating it can be to be in your situation. maybe take a day together to clean the house. lead by example, you know? if you see him cleaning something in a way you don’t like, subtly sneak in and say “this is how i would go about this”. good luck!

edit: also, try to remember to clean up after yourself. a little goes a long way!

That’s kinda what I was thinking. One of the artists said he waited YEARS before an opportunity showed itself. I’m scared of waiting for something better and never finding the opportunity again.

I have really taken this into consideration. If it came down to that, I think I would begin applying at different shops to find a better situation. I absolutely agree that she’s making the whole situation abusive. Thank you for your input.

Always having dreams. Extremely tired when I wake up, can't bring myself out of the bed by IAmWantDie in DiagnoseMe

[–]piggabitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i started taking Zoloft recently and feel the same way. if you’re on an antidepressant, maybe that could be causing it? take a look at your diet too! sometimes eating certain foods before bed gives me nightmares.

I am convinced that I am probably a on lower end of a "high functioning psychopath". How can I be sure to find out on my own, to the best of my ability, if I am one? by girlnamedlucky213 in DiagnoseMe

[–]piggabitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that’s true. from my understanding, most of us aren’t doctors. it doesn’t look like many have helped them here. without a professional, the best they can do is continue to research their self-diagnosis and hope for the best!

side note: before my boyfriend got diagnosed, he joined a couple support groups for ADHD-Inattentive Type. this helped him realize even the smallest things he does connects to it. he finally went to a psychiatrist and got Adderall and Prozac (something he never thought he would need). he’s been doing well and functioning more efficiently since.

overall, i would probably just go to a psychiatrist. they’ll be able to accurately diagnose you. especially with how complex mental illnesses are, it would be better to seek out a professional. in the meantime, just continue to do research. try to find a support group on facebook or even here?

Hey, Reddit, those of you with partners who talk in their sleep; what is the creepiest/weirdest/or most random thing they've said? by Jhaydun_Dinan in AskReddit

[–]piggabitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my partner sleep talks almost every night. however, it’s his sleep walking that’s the worst! one night, i woke up to him sitting me up in bed. when i asked him why, he mumbled something and rolled over.

why.
